RackNerd KVM VPS – Accessing the VNC Remote Console
Leave a comment on RackNerd KVM VPS – Accessing the VNC Remote Console
RackNerd KVM VPS’s come equipped with VNC out-of-band access by standard! This is useful for many purposes, such as if you ever find yourself in a situation where you may have accidentally incorrectly modified your SSH configuration, or if you have some sort of firewall rules blocking incoming network access to your server. Additionally it can be used to install a custom operating system via iso.
If you ever find yourself needing to access your RackNerd KVM VPS outside of SSH remote access – you can also access it via the console.
There are two options in order to do so:
Option #1: HTML5 Console via the SolusVM control panel located at https://nerdvm.racknerd.com/
Option #2: Download a VNC client (such as TightVNC Viewer) on your computer and connect to your VPS via the VNC client. The VNC credentials can also be found from within the SolusVM control panel (located at https://nerdvm.racknerd.com/)
